TIPS FOR LOOKING & FEELING WONDERFUL

Leading up to your wedding, it is well worth investing some time to get yourself in tip top condition, so that you look and feel fabulous on your wedding day.

SKIN CARE

1)  Have a skin care consultation to determine your skin type and use the right products for your skin (cleanser/toner/moisturiser).  A good skin care routine need only take a few minutes each day, but can really help to get your skin in good condition.

 2) Use a gentle exfoliant a couple of times a week to improve the texture of your skin and give a healthy glow.

3)  Listen to what your skin needs and treat it accordingly.  If areas of your skin are feeling dry, then use a moisture boosting mask on the dry areas a couple of times a week.  Or, if your skin is feeling oily in certain areas, use a deep cleansing mask on those areas a couple of times a week.

4)  Regular facials will help to improve your skin texture and colour, nourish the skin, improve muscle tone as well as easing away tension.  Please see my website for details.

NA NAILS

1)  Regular manicures will help to encourage nail growth and improve the condition of your hands and nails.  It is also an incentive to look after your nails if you know you are shortly to have a manicure.

  • Your nails need to be strong but flexible-

  • Massage cuticle cream into your nails daily

  • Use hand cream each day to keep your hands soft

  • Wear protective gloves when washing up, gardening etc

  • Wear a clear varnish to help protect your nails

  • Carry an emery board with you, so that if you do break a nail, you are not tempted to bite it off, but can file it immediately, retaining some length

TANNING TREATMENT

You are planning on having a tanning treatment, ensure you try it out before your wedding, so you know that you are happy with the result.

f I If you have a tattoo that is visible when your dress is on, you may want to consider having it concealed.  I am trained in remedial camouflage and provide a cover up service.

FlaFlawless Skin if you have Acne, Rosacea, Scarring, uneven Pigmentation etc

I can ensure your skin looks great on your wedding day, as I am trained in remedial camouflage and use products that look natural on your skin.

WEDDING MAKEUP

1)  Consider having your makeup trial on the same day as your hen night, so that you are having your makeup done for an occasion and you will start your evening looking and feeling fabulous.

2)  You may want to consider having your hair/dress fitting on the same day as your makeup trial, so you can get a vision of how you will look on your wedding day.

3)  Arrange your hair and makeup appointments early on your wedding day.  It is surprising just how quickly the time goes and even for a 1-2 pm wedding, you need to be considering first appointment of the day at your hair salon.  This way you can relax and enjoy the morning and have time for a glass of champagne before your wedding.

With your wedding makeup I ensure that

  • you still very much look like you

  • my product range do not contain perfume or lanolin and are excellent if you have sensitive skin

  • Your makeup lasts all day

  • You look healthy and glowing on your photographs
